WALT: Describe our school Olympic events 

Last Friday after morning tea Te Puawai participated in the mini olympics with the rest of  Paparore school. We had the events because only every four years the Olympics are held In Tokyo.  I felt very excited.

Golden child.

My favorite event was Golden child because it's really fun and we were all yelling “Run!”  One team was running around the whole court and the other team was shouting the goals to try to stop the runners  from running all the way around the court. The team that ran around the court real fast were the winners.  The runners  had to then shoot  the goals and the goal people turned into runners. I felt tired from running around the whole court!

Soccer

After golden child we went to soccer and our team was the non-bibs and the other team had bibs on so we vs  them.   I  saw everyone kicking the ball trying to take the ball off each other to get into the goals. I felt tired as a spider.   But we still played. It was really fun. The first round the non bibs won, the second round  the bibs team won so  it was a tie and a really good  game.

Last event.

The last event was to see how far you can go. Mrs Radich said we would get time for at least two or three rounds.was hosting. It was existing so you have to see how far you can jump and her boot was the line Grace went first she took a big jump and she got pretty far so then we all tried to get  passed her spot then. Koda went next but she didn’t make it so Millan had gone next he made it so then we had to try to bet his spot but I couldn't make it past. But we all just had fun with it.
